Hello folks,
Slacko is soon to enter RC for the -next version. Haven’t decided on a number yet but it looks like I might go with 5.5. Depends on when BarryK releases his next. If I’m before I’ll go 5.4.4. Anyway, only a number.. ![]()
If you want to grab it and help out with testing visit the Slacko thread on the Puppy forum.
Have fun!
Not sure what version number to call this so *next* will do.
Follow development here !
There has been many bugs squashed in userspace, kernel and at the woof level so please test.
Release is slated toward month’s end.
Have fun!
This a call to the adventurous to test Slacko 5.4 beta using Slackware 14.0 binary packages.
Development is being tracked at the Puppy Linux Forum.
Test away!
After months of development and a few hiccups on the way Puppy Linux Slacko 5.3.3 is finally released and to mark the occasion I created a new home page. Download links and other useful stuff is there.
I decided to go with a more feminine layout this time as I reckon half the users of Slacko might be female. I have no stats to back that up, purely a hunch!
(yeah, pandas are cute too).

Enjoy!
Hi all,
Slacko is nearing RC for the 5.3.3 release cycle, with plans to release the last beta within 24hrs.
See the Puppy forum, Slacko thread.
I just compiled seamonkey-2,9 but it wouldn’t link against cairo or vpx so it has grown 2 meg
